The Olympic Torch Relay

In January, JH and BF ran with a fake Olympic torch that was made by the Arts Council. They were running with Leo the Lion from the RBC, Mr. Lechner, and other students. They ran to St. Henry's School where they recieved the torch from St. Henry's students. Then they ran back to Davison School where they gave the torch to students from Miller School.

The rest of us waited in the gym for them to come. We waved our Olympic flags. Some people won Olympic mittens and one of our classmates won a shirt. We gave everyone a warm welcome when they came in. We had a lot of fun!

We can't wait for the Olympics to start!

Group 5 Christmas Dance

We got dizzy. At the end we did the splits. It was fun doing the hula. We had a lot of fun figuring out what we should do for the performance. We did the back kick on the floor well!

Group 4 Christmas Dance

It was fun sliding. We spun really fast and got dizzy. We had fun figuring out which movements to do. We were sliding at the end to show the end of our performance.

Group 3 Christmas Dance

It was pretty easy to figure out what to do. It was fun rolling like logs. We all helped to pitch ideas. Doing the cartwheels was awesome!

Group 2 Christmas Dance

We danced well. In this group we spun, jumped, and slithered. We had lots and lots of fun. The people in our group listened very well to what we wanted to do.

Group 1 Christmas Dance

We got to do some really cool stuff for our dance. In the dance we had lots of fun doing moves. We split up into groups and we made up a dance. We had fun dancing.
