Davison has a new newspaper called the Davison Star. It costs 50 cents each. The editors of the newspaper are Mrs. Ball and Kacey Mathison. The writers club worked on their first issue for a couple of months but our second issue will come out faster. Hope you like our newspaper because we worked really hard.

Mrs. Ball's Reading Conference
Mrs. Ball was away on Thursday and Friday at the Saskatchewan Reading conference. She shared with us some stories about the authors and speakers she got to meet and listen to. One of the authors she got to meet and talk to was Margariet Ruurs. Margariet has written a whole pile of books. One that Mrs. Ball really enjoyed was My Librarian Is a Camel. Margariet talked about different kinds of libraries all over the world that children get books from.
