We have been focusing really hard on learning our multiplication facts.  When we know our multiplication facts figuring out the division facts that belong with the same fact family is easy!  Remember to check out the "For Students" tab for some multiplication and division practice games!  Here is a quick slideshow of some of the work we have been doing in math!

Noise Pollution and How to Reduce

This afternoon we created devices to help reduce noise pollution.  Noise pollution is any unwanted noise that cause stress.  We had lots of different ideas and used lots of different materials including bowls, water, ziplock bags, paper, ear plugs, jars and boxes.  We found out that sealing the noise in helped to reduce it.  Layering mediums also helped.  The thicker the medium the more the noise was reduced.  Lots of the devices we created worked really well.
