Mrs Ball has a baby boy!

Hi grade 4s!  I hope you guys are having a ton of fun with Miss Weist. I just wanted to let you know that my baby boy came to join our family on May 27. We have named him Kyron Alex and got home from the hospital yesterday. We are hoping to come visit you all in a few weeks once we have settled in. Take care and see you soon!

Mrs Ball's last day

I will miss each and everyone of you, grade 4s! I know that you will continue to grow and mature under Miss Wiest's guidance. Remember you are all special and have talents and gifts to share with our world. I've told Miss Wiest how responsible and respectful this class is and know you won't prove me wrong! Stay in touch!

Mrs. Ball is going to miss me but she promises to come back and visit!

Kellie's Drum

Kellie brought a drum to school to share with our class. The drum has been passed through many generations in his family. He told us how his family uses it.

Did you know that in our just for students part we have links to multiplication games?  These can help you to practice your math facts.

I will also add the following two links today: We Give Books and Oxford Owl are two websites where you can find online eBooks to read if you can't find any books at home to read.  Remember to add them your home reading minutes!  For We Give Books you will need to get a parent to set up an account for you but the account it free!

Reflect and refract

After our experiment in refraction we decided to play around with light reflection. Can you tell who's who in the dark? It's a good thing we normally use lights at school.
